Paulina Porizkova was born in 1965, and only 15 short years later she started her modeling career. She appeared on the covers of numerous prestigious publications and steadily rose to prominence in the modeling industry.
In addition to magazines, she appeared in several movies, TV episodes, and music videos. She has recently earned a reputation for being open about aging, sadness, loss, and other topics.
Despite what the haters say, she has continued to fully immerse herself in the modeling industry at the age of 57 and with more than 40 years of expertise. She continues to publish photos of herself posing in bikinis.
“I am a 57-year-old lady, and it seems to suggest that in society, you lose your license to show out in bikinis too when you hit middle age,” she added. Porizkova frequently discusses the negative feedback she gets just for advertising herself as a model at her age. She has been called “a desperate grandma” or “too old to be doing this,” but she never takes it personally and defends herself.
She was formerly married for 28 years to Ric Ocasek, the late frontman of the legendary rock group The Cars. The former supermodel was open about the ups and downs the marriage experienced. She claimed that the two had grown apart in the months before his death.
Following his death, she remarked in an interview, “I just noticed that we shared less and less, and we communicated less, and then he sort of stopped desiring me.”
In describing her thoughts then, she said, “Since I was hitting my late 40s and early 50s, I think I figured, maybe he doesn’t fancy me because I’m getting older.”
However, she still strives to preserve Ocasek’s recollection of their enjoyable times together.
She now fervently supports ladies growing older naturally without undergoing aging-reverse surgery. She wishes more women would embrace their aging bodies and decide to embrace their inherent attractiveness. “I desire to be an unaltered older woman,” she declared.
She frequently admires her aging looks, saying, “What I like about my face now, at 57, is that it’s like a really good novel of the history of my life like it’s all written into my face.”
She always emphasizes the value of letting oneself age and how it is a lovely natural process for other older women and even younger ones. We need more women to embrace aging and keep trumpeting it out there, saying, “Look at what I’m doing at my age,” she added. “We have to make older cool. I’m trying.”
Even at this age, she is stunning! Discuss this motivational article with others to find out what they think of her views on aging!
