Hi, what are you looking for?

A 21-year-old woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann receives DNA test results.

The long-awaited DNA test results were sent to the 21-year-old who made international headlines earlier this year when she claimed to be British Madeleine McCann.

Julia Wendell, also known as Julia Faustyna or Julia Wandelt, rose to prominence in February after claiming to be McCann, a young girl who went missing from a Portuguese vacation resort in 2007.

Wendell set up an Instagram account called “Help me, I need to talk to Kate and Gerry McCann” – the username is “iammadeleinemccan” – and backed up her claim with “evidence,” such as side-by-side comparisons of physical attributes she shares with Madeleine.

The Polish native was eventually forced to flee her country after getting death threats due to the attention her case received, but she has constantly maintained that she is not lying on purpose.

A Swiss artificial intelligence company conducted a detailed facial recognition test last month to see whether the 21-year-old’s correct claim uncovered severe issues.

Ava-X allegedly fed photographs of McCann and Wendell into its Iris facial recognition algorithm. What was the result? The computer software determined that the young lady was “practically impossible” to be Madeleine, who went missing.

According to Christian Fehrlin, co-founder of the company, the technology was able to identify a match between childhood and adult images of Wendell. Still, it was unable to do so with photos of Madeleine.

“When we did the same thing with Maddie’s picture, there was no match,” Fehrlin told the Swiss tabloid, Blick.

Meanwhile, the young woman’s family has angrily denied her claims.

“Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece,” the family wrote in a statement.

“We have memories and pictures. Julia also has these images, which she obtained from the family home together with the birth certificate and various hospital discharges.”

Wendell has been working feverishly to find a solution, and she recently appeared on the television show Dr. Phil to raise awareness of her situation.

As previously stated, she migrated to the United States after being forcibly removed from Poland for her safety. She reportedly underwent a DNA test to establish her relation to the McCann family.

Nonetheless, the results show that she is not Madeleine and is from Poland with Lithuanian and Romanian ancestors.

Dr. Fia Johansson told RadarOnline, “She is absolutely 100 percent Polish.” She has a minor percentage of Lithuanian and Russian ancestry, but her DNA tests suggest she is Polish.”

Before the test results were announced, Dr. Johansson, who has been granted power of attorney over Julia, indicated that she had a “gut feeling” that her client wasn’t Madeleine.

“We learned a few things, one of which is that Julia’s mother is now thought to be her mother, so she is not Madeleine McCann,” Dr. Johansson said.

“They aren’t certain, but they believe Julia’s mother is her mother.” They doubt her father’s side of the story. They’re looking into that as part of their research with the DNA.

“However, they believe Julia’s mother is her mother and that she is not Madeleine McCann.”

According to UK sources, authorities will get a fresh infusion of funds worth tens of thousands of pounds to aid in the search for Madeleine.

“This is fantastic news,” a source with knowledge of the investigation stated. Maddie’s parents, Kate and Gerry, will be pleased. It gives me new hope.

All I can hope for is that the situation is addressed quickly so that Madeleine McCann’s distressed parents can finally find rest.
