The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced on Monday night, Oct. 26, that Jay-Z will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show. The game takes place on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The announcement came during halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jay-Z said in a statement: “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”

Roc Nation has partnered with the NFL since 2019 to advise on and help produce the league’s entertainment presentations, including the halftime show. This will be the first time Jay-Z headlines the show himself.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement: “When we first reached an agreement with Roc Nation to produce the show, I had just one request: that Jay-Z take the stage himself one day, whenever the moment felt right to him.”
The booking caps a year marking 30 years since Jay-Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt. He closed his JAY-Z 30 concert series with two shows at SoFi Stadium on Oct. 23 and 24, the same venue that will host the Super Bowl.
