Hi, what are you looking for?

Fans are concerned about Goldie Hawn’s health.

Goldie Hawn has struggled with mental illness despite obtaining multiple honors for her profession, playing in Hollywood blockbusters, dating Kurt Russell since 1983, and having a growing family.

Goldie Hawn revealed her desire for a “normal existence” in a candid video. “I wanted to go home, get married, open a dancing school, be happy, and have kids,” she explained. “I yearned for a normal life, but I wasn’t getting it. My work life just continued getting better and better, and I even won an Academy Award.” Hawn refers to her Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Cactus Flower (1969).

She would “return to [her] dressing room and lie down” at 24.

“I was quite worried about this unease coming over me,” Hawn remarked.

“I lost my smile. I wasn’t thrilled for someone who desired to be happy for the rest of their life.”

Hawn sought professional help to “understand more about what was going on with her brain.”

“I decided to see a psychologist,” she said.

“After a year, I began to rediscover myself.”

“But believe me, I know what it’s like to be anxious and depressed.”

According to the leading mental health organization Mind, anxiety is what we feel when we are concerned, tense, or afraid.

Anxiety is the “natural human response” to feeling threatened, especially in tough situations.

However, it can be devastating when the condition interferes with daily living.

If anxiety is seen as a mental health issue;

You have severe anxiety or long-term anxiety.

Given the circumstances, your anxieties or fears are excessive.

You avoid situations that could make you feel anxious.

You are in significant pain or are unable to control your worries.

Panic attacks and other nervous sensations occur regularly.

You find it difficult to carry out daily tasks or engage in fun pastimes.

Anxiety can cause various physical symptoms, including heart palpitations and stomach churning.

The illness might induce headaches, excessive sweating, nausea, and sleep disturbances.

Depression

“Depression is a low mood that lasts for a long time and impairs your daily life,” according to Mind.

In its most basic form, depression can be defined as a low mood that makes getting through each day appear more difficult and less gratifying.

“At its worst, depression can be life-threatening because it can make you feel suicidal,” the organization stated.

Feeling: is a common symptom of depression.

Therapy can help with both melancholy and anxiety.

Cognitive behavioral treatment, for example, can be effective (CBT).

Mind went on to say that the remedies available in your area can be addressed with your doctor or a mental health practitioner.
