SpaceX launched 27 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California early on Tuesday, October 27, Spaceflight Now reported.
The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at 12:25 a.m. PDT on the Starlink 15-16 mission. The satellites were due for release about an hour into the flight, after a short circularisation burn, Spaceflight Now reported.

The first stage booster, B1082, flew for the 26th time on this mission, Spaceflight Now reported. It landed on the drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Baja California, Mexico.
Space Launch Delta 30 said the mission was the 72nd launch supported by the West Coast spaceport in 2026, passing its total for all of 2025 with more than two months of the year still to run.
