One-half of the renowned Property Brothers team is Jonathan Scott. When the media celebrity started dating actress Zooey Deschanel in 2019, it garnered public attention. Although they were open about love, the pair rarely talked about their personal lives.
But Scott has talked openly about his experiences working with Deschanel over the past few years. And he attributes his ability to deal with a blended family to his experience with his brother Drew.
“Honestly, it all started with what Drew and I came up with. There is a “no BS” rule here. In the interview, Jonathan stated, “If something is ever bothering us, we get it out before it becomes something more than it needs to be. “Zooey also has the best skills I’ve ever seen at resolving disputes. She is amazing. Our interaction keeps everything in sync.
Zooey has two kids from her former marriage to Jacob Pechenik: a 7-year-old daughter named Elsie and a 6-year-old son named Charlie. And Jonathan is all smiles about her kids and their dad.
“Dad of the kids is a terrific dad. Jacob and I also have a wonderful friendship over there, adding the 45-year-old home renovator. “I adore it when children sketch pictures. They depict Jonathan, his father, and his mother. The media personality described it as incredibly lovely.
When filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke on Apple TV+, they first got to know one another. They collaborated on other professional projects after that. For an episode of Celebrity IOU in 2020, Deschanel renovated the house of her childhood closest friend with the Property Brothers’ assistance.
The actress is preparing for the debut of her next program, What Am I Eating?, which will air immediately following the most recent season of Celebrity IOU.
The Property Brother adored his girlfriend, exclaiming, “Everything she does, she just blows it out of the water. We giggled because she appeared on Celebrity IOU and admitted that she detested the demolition.”
“She did it because she loved her recipient—her best friend—even though it was loud, raucous, and filthy. The same applies to her acting in movies, TV shows, and live performances with She & Him. She gives her all she does, especially to be a mother. She is simply the best mother anyone could hope for.”
Celebrity IOU is a television program where Hollywood stars surprise loved ones who have helped and supported them throughout the years with a full house renovation. The performance expresses gratitude to those who have supported these superstars.
“There’s nothing that compares to when you see how this is going to change the lives for these families and also with all the celebrities,” Drew adds of the television series, which will include Taraji P. Henson, Jay Leno, Heidi Klum, and Glenn Close in its upcoming season.
“They’re not just tossing cash and saying, ‘Make this lovely.’ They are in there using their own hands to perform tasks they have never performed or with which they are uncomfortable. They continue to practice it.”
