Hi, what are you looking for?

Who will receive Tina Turner’s $250 million fortune upon her passing?

On May 24, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll passed away at age 83.

Before her untimely passing on May 24 at 83, Tina Turner amassed a phenomenal net worth throughout her illustrious career.

Several net worth estimators estimated the singer of What’s Love Got to Do with It to be worth $250 million. After a protracted illness exacerbated by intestinal cancer, high blood pressure, and a kidney transplant, Tina passed away.

Her passing occurred fewer than six months after the terrible death of Ronnie Turner, her youngest son, on December 8, 2022. Craig Turner, her oldest son, also passed away in 2018 after committing suicide.

It is not unexpected that Tina had a wealth of $250 million because she was one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In reality, she increased her wealth shortly before she passed away by agreeing to give BMG Rights Management the rights to her songs, likeness, and image in exchange for an estimated $50 million.

After suffering intestinal cancer and high blood pressure, which hastened kidney deterioration and caused her husband, Erwin Bach, to give one of his kidneys to her in 2017, reports say that Tina finalized her estate in the years before her passing.

Although her will has not been made public, it is widely believed that she will leave most of her wealth, if not the entire sum, to her husband of ten years. Before getting married in 2013 in Switzerland during a civil ceremony, the pair dated for 27 years.

Many people anticipate that Tina will divide her wealth between her husband and her two remaining children, Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner, whom she adopted as infants during her marriage to Ike Turner, as her two biological children, Craig and Ronnie, are already deceased.

However, in 2018, Ike Jr. stated that he hadn’t spoken to his mother in nearly 20 years. He also said she was distant from Michael but did “send him money” since he needed financial assistance for his medical bills.

“Tina raised me starting at age two,” Ike Jr. said. “She’s the only mother I’ve ever known. But it’s been a while—probably since around 2000—since I spoke to my mum. My brothers haven’t likely spoken to her in a long time either. My mum is enjoying herself; she recently married and is currently in Europe. She doesn’t want to interact with the past in any way.”

Ike Jr. continued, “Michael is in a rehabilitation facility in Southern California and needs medical assistance. I’ve seen him a good number of times. He’s doing fantastic. When asked if Tina ever comes to see Michael, he said, “No. She only ever sends him money.”

The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina, passed away in Switzerland after a protracted illness, her representative stated in a post on social media.

It said, “We announce Tina Turner’s passing with great sadness. She charmed millions of admirers worldwide with her music and inexhaustible zest for life and inspired the stars of tomorrow. We bid a close friend farewell today, leaving behind her greatest contribution to the world: her music. Our deepest sympathies are with her family. We will miss you terribly, Tina.”
