Lourdes Leon is preserving a feeling of normalcy despite the hardship caused by her famous mother, Madonna’s recent health crisis.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old singer and model posted a photo to her Instagram Stories demonstrating her tenacity and fortitude in the face of difficulty.
Lourdes was seen in the image shared with her 475,000 followers, wearing a corset top, blue jeans, and letting her natural brown hair fall freely.
Her look was completed by a chain around her waist, silver cuff bracelets, and a pocketbook thrown over her arm.
Along with a kissing emoji, Lourdes added the hashtag for Vans brand of skate shoes and clothing. Following what her agent described as a “serious bacterial infection,” Madonna, 64, was recently taken to the ICU.
Lourdes, whose father is the actor Carlos Leon, was by Madonna’s side unwaveringly throughout this trying time. The entertainment industry was shocked to learn that Madonna was hospitalized.
On Saturday, the vocalist of Material Girl was discovered to be ill. She was quickly brought to the ICU and intubated for the night.
Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager, said that the singer was suffering from a “serious bacterial infection,” which required a lengthy stay in the intensive care unit.
Oseary shared this horrific health crisis on Instagram, saying that Madonna’s 84-date Celebration tour, set to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, had to be postponed because of her condition.
Madonna is “expected to make a full recovery,” according to Oseary, despite the fact that he withheld specifics regarding her medical care. He continued that her “health is improving,” although she is still “under medical care.”
Madonna is now ‘out of the ICU and recovering.’
In the meantime, Rocco Ritchie, Madonna’s oldest son, posted a number of images and videos from his motorcycle ride across Transylvania, Romania.
Two days after Madonna was admitted to the hospital, on June 26, Rocco posted a message in which he made no mention of his mother’s health problems and instead stated that he was looking forward to new experiences after having a “crazy trip” in a “crazy place.”
Madonna’s bacterial infection’s specifics are yet unknown. However, these infections can affect many different body parts, such as the skin, lungs, brain, and blood.
The Celebration Tour, which Madonna had planned, was scheduled to run from July 15, 2023, until January 30, 2024.
A total of 84 gigs were planned for the singer’s 12th concert tour, which was scheduled to stop in cities across Europe and North America.
Madonna’s final Instagram post before being admitted to the hospital was on June 20 and featured pictures of her practicing for the tour along with the statement, “The calm before the storm.”
