Britney Spears’ family is concerned that she is using meth

The family of Britney Spears worries that she might suffer the same fate as Amy Winehouse.

In a recent interview, Spears’ estranged father, Jamie Spears, and ex-husband Kevin Federline expressed their suspicion that the “Toxic” singer is using narcotics and may pass away.

On Saturday, Federline, 45, said, “I fear she’s on meth — I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up.”

Jamie, 70, told the publication that Britney “may die like Amy,” referring to the “Back to Black” singer who passed away in 2011 at 27 from alcohol poisoning following years of drug usage.

The Spears patriarch, who Britney, 41, accused of mistreating her while he served as her conservator, said, “Compare her wellness then and how she is doing now.”

The pop diva hasn’t commented on the shocking interview in the media.

The serious worries come more than a year after the well-reported termination of Britney’s conservatorship, which for 13 years had virtually total control over her life.

According to the story, her boys Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, continue to refuse to visit their mother despite their claims that they saw drugs delivered to her house.

Federline, who receives a staggering $40,000 in child support from his ex-wife each month, said: “Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news.”

Kevin Federline, her ex-husband, stated, “I’ve been praying that someone would make it public and that she wakes up.”

The DJ continued, “I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and discover their mother overdosed.”

The news that Britney authorized her children to relocate to Hawaii with their father after Federline threatened to sue her was first reported by Page Six last month.

The Grammy winner is now married to Sam Asghari, with whom she celebrated their first wedding anniversary last week. The Grammy winner recently canceled her Instagram account once more.
