Katie Holmes Recognizes The Heartbreaking Personal End Of An Era Ahead Of Suri’s Big Day.

Katie Holmes recently celebrated a poignant personal milestone by performing her final performance of the off-Broadway drama The Wanderers.

The 44-year-old actress said her final goodbyes to the production just days before her daughter, Suri, turns 17 on April 18.

The Dawson’s Creek actress, who was formerly married to actor Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012, made a spectacular comeback to the stage in The Wanderers after a decade away.

The play covers the lives of two couples, with Katie playing high-profile celebrity Julia Cheever, who is on the verge of an affair with Abe, played by Eddie Kaye Thomas.

Suri appears to follow in her mother’s footsteps, as the girl has been exhibiting her talents in the entertainment business in recent years.

Katie’s film, Alone Together, featured the private young woman’s incredible singing voice performing Blue Moon in the opening credits.

Katie couldn’t be more proud of her daughter’s contribution to the film, saying, “She’s very good. She said she would do it and recorded it, and I let her do her thing.”

Katie replied, “I always want the best talent, so I asked her.”

In a recent interview, the actress recently talked about how she and her kid spent their time during the pandemic lockdown.

Katie told Incredible magazine’s sophomore edition, “I painted, we had a sewing machine, so we were making quilts, cooking; we were on a permanent holiday.”

The mother-daughter team had a great day by the lake, watching Dirty Dancing several times and dancing together in the living room.

In an interview last year, Katie revealed a rare look into her relationship with Suri, stating, “I love her so much. My biggest desire has always been to nurture her into her personality. To make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident, and able. And to know it.”

Suri lives with Katie full-time and is separated from her father, Tom.
