Guns N’ Roses rocker Axl Rose is improving after canceling a recent performance in Scotland because of an undisclosed medical condition.
In a message shared on Twitter, Rose, 60, expressed regret for postponing the event in Glasgow on Tuesday night and thanked the audience for their encouragement.
He claims that he is doing fine as long as he follows his doctor’s instructions and performs on Friday in Munich, Germany, as planned.
“According to the doctor’s instructions, he added that I’ve been getting rest, working with a vocal coach, and addressing [our] sound concerns. It’s been good thus far.”
“I once again appreciate your concern,” he continued. “The band, the crew, and I ultimately focus on giving you, the fans, the most excellent version of ourselves and the best experience we can provide you. Hello from Munich!”
On Monday night, Guns N’ Roses announced that the Glasgow show had been postponed “due to illness and medical advice.”
“Unfortunately, GN’R will not be able to play in Glasgow due to illness and medical advice,” the notification stated. “As we attempt to find alternate dates for this performance, please hold onto your tickets and wait for another update. We appreciate your understanding and patience.”
Even though the cause of the canceled performance is unknown, Rose told the London audience on Sunday night that he had just visited the doctor and would modify some of the setlists.
“I thus went to the doctor and completed other tasks. Yes, I did stay here the night before.” He asserted in a video uploaded to Twitter. “As a result, I’ll change my voice style slightly during the songs. I hope you’re ok with it. We want to continue, please.”
After Carrie Underwood joined the group for two impromptu shows on Friday and Saturday nights in London, a setback occurred.
The country singer performed “Sweet Child O’ Mine” before reuniting with the group to finish the performance with “Paradise City.”
