Disney+ and Hulu have ordered a reboot of Glee, the musical comedy-drama that ran on Fox from 2009 to 2015. The new series comes from 20th Television.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy wrote the script with fellow creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, The Wrap reported. Murphy told Entertainment Tonight in September that he had spoken with about ten original cast members, and they were enthusiastic about the idea.

The original series followed the New Directions show choir at the fictional William McKinley High School. It won six Primetime Emmy Awards across six seasons and became a streaming hit long after its finale.
No premiere date or cast lineup has been announced.
