Emma Stone crashed Druski’s opening monologue on Saturday Night Live, walking on stage midway through the internet comedian’s hosting debut on Saturday, November 7.
Druski told the Studio 8H audience he had just finished filming his first movie with Stone, then announced she was in the room. Stone, a five-time host of the show, walked out to cheers. The two co-star in The Catch, a Universal Pictures romantic comedy set to open in theatres on May 21, 2027.
Druski claimed he plays Stone’s love interest in the film. Stone corrected him on the spot, saying their characters were not romantic partners and that the mix-up explained why he kept staring at her through their scenes. Druski joked that a sequel could fix that.

The appearance capped a first for the show. Druski became the first online content creator to host Saturday Night Live, leading the fifth episode of season 52 with the Strokes as musical guest. The Catch is directed by Dave McCary, Stone’s husband and a former SNL segment director and writer.
