Kelly Clarkson delivers a harsh public message to ex-husband Brandon Blackstock over a family legal battle.

Kelly Clarkson appeared to openly criticize her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock during an opening episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The singer, embroiled in a legal battle with her ex-father-in-law, made some telling lyric changes during her version of Gayle’s song ‘abcdefu,’ which many fans assumed was directed at Brandon, their high-profile divorce, and his father, Narvel.

Kelly shouted out as she began her Kellyoke performance at the beginning of the program, “F you and your dad and the fact that you got half and my broken heart, turn that [****] into art.”

“[Expletive] you and your mom and your sister and your job and your broke-ass car and that [expletive] you call art,” the alteration was an apparent deviation from the original language.

Kelly repeated her revised lyrics instead of the song’s original chorus to emphasize her message.

Fans reacted quickly to the apparent public dig, with one saying on YouTube, “Kelly is putting Narvel and Brandon on some major blast,” and another on Twitter, “OMG, she real upset with Brandon!!”

“The finger listing at the end, all the eyebrow-raising…we see and hear you @kellyclarkson,” a third added.

Kelly is suing her ex-father-in-company, law’s Starstruck Entertainment, for managing her for over a decade.

Narvel’s company sued Kelly shortly after her divorce from Brandon, whom she married from 2013 until 2022, claiming she owed them $1.4 million and an additional $5.4 million in future commissions.

Kelly and Brandon split in 2020, and their divorce and subsequent court proceedings were resolved in 2022, involving settlements on their Montana family home and custody of their two children, River, eight, and Remington, six.

According to their divorce settlement, Kelly was ordered to pay $115,000 per month in spousal support until January 2024. Brandon also receives $45,601 in monthly child support, despite having primary custody of their two children.
