Nicole Taylor, who sang with her identical triplet sisters Natalie and Nika in the country trio Taylor Red, died on 28 September. She was 35.
Her sisters announced her death on 2 November in a video posted to the group’s social media. They said Nicole had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2022, and the cancer later progressed to stage 4.
According to USA Today, Nicole responded to treatment at first, but the disease returned. Doctors later gave her a prognosis of three months. She lived for another year.
The sisters said the family held a private funeral. They shared a memorial page for Samaritan’s Purse, which they described as one of Nicole’s favourite charities.
Taylor Red found an audience on TikTok, and Nicole also co-hosted a country radio show with Taste of Country. Her sisters called her their leader and best friend in their announcement.
