Justin Timberlake will release a four-part docuseries on Apple TV in December, according to Variety. Three sources described the project to Variety as a “tell-all,” and the outlet reported the news as an exclusive on November 2.
One source said Janet Jackson will appear to discuss the 2004 Super Bowl halftime performance, when Timberlake exposed her breast on live television in an incident that became known as the “wardrobe malfunction.” Another source said Timberlake will address recent comments from his former girlfriend Britney Spears.

Fisher Stevens directs the series, according to Variety. No title, exact premiere date, trailer, or full participant list has been announced, and representatives for Timberlake, Jackson, and Apple either had no comment or did not respond to requests for comment.
Jackson revisited the 2004 incident in her own four-part documentary series, “Janet,” in 2022. Timberlake previously worked with Apple on the 2021 film “Palmer.”
